Exciting News: StaySense Aquired by Guesty
We are thrilled to announce that StaySense has been acquired by Guesty!
StaySense started as a Smoky Mountains property management company in 2013. After rapidly growing to 130 units, the founders sold that business unit and focused on building the web brand into a powerful booking channel.
SmokyMountains.com was the flagship site and the initial company name, but due to growth into additional markets and products, we changed the name to StaySense in 2018. Shortly thereafter, StaySense launched FloridaPanhandle.com and recently launched HawaiianIslands.com. All three brands continue to experience growth, and that led to the latest product - StaySense Amplify. Amplify is a revolutionary new technology that can transform destination websites into booking channels. This new product, which launched this year, is already driving value for property management companies.
After many successful collaborations with Guesty over the past few years and many hours spent with the Guesty team, we believe that working together will prove valuable not only to StaySense as a business unit but also allow us to grow faster and service customers with an even better experience. The StaySense culture and the Guesty culture of customer service and care for employees make this partnership a natural fit.
The StaySense team will remain focused on growing the StaySense brand and will retain our presence in Nashville, Tennessee.
"Joining forces with Guesty is an exciting opportunity for StaySense," said David Angotti, StaySense’s Founder. "We share a common vision for the future of hospitality, and together we can provide more value to our clients so they can continue to provide great guest experiences and grow locally and globally."
"We are thrilled to welcome the StaySense team and David Angotti to the Guesty family. In doing so, Guesty is building out its local distribution arm for US vacation rental managers, deepening its connection with the US leisure market, and diversifying distribution strategies for Guesty customers,” said Amiad Soto, CEO and co-founder of Guesty. "David fits beautifully into Guesty’s DNA of industry experts, and the acquisition of StaySense further strengthens our position as the leading platform for vacation rental managers."
We look forward to growing with Guesty and continuing to advance our products and services while serving our customers and the industry with excellence as we achieve great things together.
